I draw your attention to a new work of reference, recently published in France:

Jordi Bonells –

Paris: Robert Laffont (Bouquins), 2009, xii + 1636 pp. This is a monumental work, overflowing with information and shedding light on an enormous range of writers and genres of Spanish-speaking literature. I will certainly review it later on: for now, I would recommend it for the library of all scholars or lovers of literature who know both Spanish and French.
